About Me

Hi, welcome to the Derek Kinder State Farm Agency!

Our Agency has over 25 years of experience.

We provide insurance throughout all of Nebraska and Iowa.

This office focuses on building relationships, and putting our Customers needs first!

We offer Car Insurance, Home Insurance, Life and Health Insurance, and much more! I've spent the last 7 years in the Council Bluff area. 5 of those years were spent at a State Farm Agents office. We also offer Notary Public services.

I spent my high school years in Minnesota, and followed my beautiful wife Kaitlin here when she was going to school. We have a very busy, hockey loving 2 year old, Brooks Lee, who brings so much joy to us. We also welcomed our beautiful baby girl, Cohen Kay into the world in June, and are loving her so much. Also, we have two wonderful dogs, Rue and Piper, and enjoy spending time with family and friends.

I'm a proud member of Council Bluffs Rotary Club, and a Council Bluffs Chamber member. I spend my winters at the Ralston Hockey arena, as I'm the Junior Varsity Head Coach and Assistant Coach for the Varsity hockey team, who just won the national championship.

Our office is a 2 time Ambassador Club Qualifier, and a 1 time SVP Qualifier.
